The Spey Grips fore and rear along with the reel seat are from Mudhole This Rod is hand painted by PHWFF long term participant Rick Warrington. He custom paints each one adding his own flare from the paint colors, design, and this one is a trout skin design with some shading detail. The guides of this rod are woven and reinforced with epoxy featuring a comfortable cork grip handle. Rick wrapped the guides with Voodoo Variegated thread in purple/ yellow with yellow trim. Ferules are wrapped in yellow with Pheasant tippet and Jungle Cock feathers inlay. The decorative wrap was white thread that was hand dyed and painted as a close of the skin of a " Brown Trout" Rick Warrington is an Army veteran who has been participating in Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing since a PCS to Fort Belvoir in August of 2015.
